Ahoy There!!

Hey all, back for another post.

So last Saturday, myself and some fellow NSACer's (Susan included) went out on Mr. Tsang's boat, Wind Dance. Sail boat to be exact. Last time I went sailing was during a family trip to Door County, WI. Very different experience. It was really cold and cloudy, and no matter how much I willed the sun to come out, it refused.

It was still a fabulous time, and I learned what a "boom" is (spelling?!). It's the thing that holds the sail up and can wack you in the head if you are taller than 5' 4". Luckily I missed the cutoff by about 2 inches.

Lake Minnetonka is really beautiful and odd. The lake is comprised of several smaller ones and it looks like someone just kind of splattered it on the earth. If it was warmer out I might have made the plunge, despite my disgust of lake water. Apparently it is the place to be during Minnesota's summers. I swear, every other person you meet in the state owns a cabin on a lake or a boat.

After galavanting on the lake, we went to Sunsets in Wayzata for an awesome lunch. Best tomato soup and artichoke dip I've had in a while!! Slightly pricey if you are a poor college student, but it was worth it.

Done for now. Back later for more adventures.
